Cedar Hill Real Estate Group is led by Tom Affleck, a not-for-profit business and project management advisor who has spearheaded creative real estate projects in both Canada and Central America.  In 2016, Tom was awarded the Governor General of Canada's Meritorious Service Cross for his extensive work building schools in some of the poorest communities in the Americas.  

Tom thrives on helping clients define and realize their property vision and objectives.  Tom's marquee project has been spearheading the renewal of Knox Presbyterian Church's site in downtown Toronto.  Tom was engaged by Knox to tackle its overwhelming maintenance deficit, ultimately leading $7M in restoration work on the main Church building and securing reoccurring revenue for the Church by leasing underutilized portions of its site.  This compelling project will result in hundreds of new affordable & market rental units being built on Knox's strategic site.

Sarah helped to start Cedar Hill Real Estate Group in order to find actionable solutions to our current housing crisis.  Her passion involves leveraging existing community assets in order to further achieve social impact.  Sarah loves engaging with diverse groups to find creative solutions that work and that impact multiple bottom lines.  

She brings decades of experience in not-for-profit construction.  Her work at SchoolBOX involved overseeing the construction of over a hundred earthquake-safe classrooms and libraries in Central America.  Sarah brought that experience home to build indigenous learning centers on-reserve in Northern Ontario.
